| Experiences in Juniors
By Leah Tedesco
The experiences that have influenced me the most would have to be delivering a litter of Dachshunds, winning Best Veteran in Show, working to put championships on my dogs, winning Best Junior Handler ribbons, and meeting numerous amount of fun and interesting people. Each experience has influenced me as person. I feel that by showing I have learned to be a leader, be more mature, and have poise. My experiences have taught me many things throughout the years, but my greatest lesson was learning to always have fun and never give up. In the future, I hope to continue showing dogs, but I would like to venture into a variety of different breeds that I have not had the privilege to already. For instance, I will probably begin with my new German Shepherd. Also I would like to become a Juniors Judge. I feel that by encouraging and helping the youth, I am encouraging and helping the future of this sport.

My name is Leah Tedesco and I am seventeen years old. I have been showing dogs for about seven years. Within those years I have competed in Conformation, Rally, and Agility. I received my first dog, originally, as a pet, but after going to a dog show and seeing the Breed and Juniors competition, I fell immediately enthralled and made him a show dog. I began in Novice Junior and worked my way up to Open Senior. During the time I was accomplishing that goal, I also had the pleasure to compete in Breed; Learning about the anatomy and physiology of dogs.
