The American Kennel Club celebrates Responsible Dog Ownership throughout the month of September, encouraging clubs to offer events in their community. The last day for eligibility qualification for Junior Showmanship for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship is October 10, 2012. AKC Staff must first have received validation of the 3.0 Grade point average to add a Junior to the list of those being eligible to enter with the Superintendent. Once all criteria have been confirmed by the AKC, you may proceed to enter with Onofrio Dog Show Organization.

The AKC National Juniors Obedience Competition is on Saturday December 15, 2012

If you are entered in Obedience and AKC Junior Showmanship we will work with you should there be a conflict.

Any Junior participating is welcome to submit their comments on participation at these events along with photos to be published in a future Junior E-Newsletter.

We greatly appreciate the participation of Juniors with articles and photographs. If you are interested in writing about your experiences or a special event in which you participated, please submit to juniors@akc.org. We also appreciate receiving photographs of Juniors competing or just hanging out at AKC events. If you have a camera and enjoy taking photos, please forward with information about the show or event.
