The American Kennel Club (AKC) has been protecting the interests of purebred dog owners for 126 years. Today, as never before, our rights to responsibly own and breed dogs are being threatened by the introduction of repressive canine legislation. The success or failure of such measures depends not only on our collective ability to educate legislators, but also on ensuring that we have lawmakers in office who share our vision and who can positively impact the future of our beloved pets, our sport, and our way of life.

Through the AKC Political Action Committee (AKC PAC), we have the opportunity to support elected officials and candidates who will defend dog sports and responsible breeders. One hundred percent of these donations will go directly to support the campaigns of candidates who will help protect dog owners’ rights.
