One-hundred percent of your donations to the AKC Canine Legislative Support Fund (CLSF) go to supporting legislation, securing formal representation of our interests in congress and statehouses, and educating legislators about responsible and fair policy for dog breeding and ownership.

CSLF initiatives include funding for AKC’s federal lobbyists, supporting legislative workshops, lobby days, and educational/advocacy presentations to lawmakers and the public. CLSF also supports the Bebout Awards, which recognize federations and owner/breeder organizations for their active involvement in educating legislators about responsible dog ownership issues and working to preserve the rights of responsible owners and breeders.

AKC pays all overhead expenses associated with the CLSF so that every dollar donated goes to directly support these and other key legislative initiatives. Any person, any club and any organization can donate to the CSLF.
