The Cluster works very hard to provide numerous educational opportunities for both the fancy as well as the public attending the event. Popular each day was the Meet the Breeds area where local breed clubs are scheduled at specific time, to allow the public to talk to breeders and meet examples of the breed.

Agility - Houston Cluster 2004
The very popular venue of agility was showcased at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas, with four days of agility, July 15 -18, 2004 and hosted by Houston Kennel Club. The 7 judges rotated schedules for the four days in order to judge the 1,200 runs per day. The carpet provided by Pawsitive Impact Agility Club proved fast and smooth runs. The trials produced many MACH's and outstanding new teams in the featured International Sweepstakes Class. The two days of competition produced many new candidates for the world team tryouts for the 2005 AKC/USA World Team.
The winners of the ISC class in all 3 heights, mini- 14"; midi-18"; and Maxi- 26" are invited to participate in the tryouts. Team captain, Sharon Anderson evaluated teams as they ran.
Overall Winners with the combined scores of both days were:
26" - Marcus Topps, Juice, Border Collie
18" - Lori Michaels, Skye, Shetland Sheepdog
14" John Nys, Casey, Miniature Schnauzer
