American Kennel Club Releases America's Most Popular Breeds

The American Kennel Club celebrated the annual announcement of America's most popular breeds with a press conference at New York City's Grand Central Terminal. In honor of the work that many of the country's favorite breeds do to keep us safe – detection and police work, search and rescue and much more – the AKC invited several Metropolitan Transit Authority police K-9s to attend. Puppy representatives of the Top 5 breeds were also present to be photographed by local media. See photos from the event below.
