AKC Registered Handler Program Junior Clinic in New Castle, PA

The American Kennel Club's Registered Handlers Program (RHP) conducted an "Afternoon with the Professionals" on Sunday, May 29th at the New Castle, PA cluster. More than two dozen Junior Handlers received individualized instruction from RHP handlers to improve their presentation skills. The New Castle, PA Juniors Clinic is the most recent installment of RHP clinics conducted in 2005 by the Registered Handlers Program. RHP handlers are committed to assisting the young men and women constituting the future of our sport. RHP Junior Clinics in 2005 cover the continent with presentations ranging from Baltimore, Maryland, Portland, Oregon, and Shreveport, Louisiana. AKC Registered Handler Program participants recognize the need to provide instruction and positive reinforcement to Juniors involved in the conformation component of AKC activities. The AKC Registerd Handlers Program clinics join juniors with RHP handlers to assure juniors receive the best of instruction in how to competently present their dogs in the junior showmanship ring.
